Melissa Mallia
Melissa Mallia joined the American Profit Recovery Farmington Hills, Michigan team in March 2006. She currently manages the APR Administrative Team and is the Team Leader for all employee activities and charitable events in the Michigan office. After attending the University of Detroit Mercy in biology, Mallia cultivated exceptional skills in customer service and team leadership as a veterinary assistant. In 2009 she returned to school to pursue studies in business. At APR Mallia keeps employees engaged in helping the community by organizing teams and efforts for charitable events.
Mallia personally enjoys the fact that APR gives her to opportunity to be actively involved in many different charity and service events in the community. She recently helped organize the APR Michigan team for the Making Strides for Breast Cancer Walk and had the privilege of taking donations for the Adopt a Family program APR sponsored last holiday season. Mallia has also made an annual tradition with her family of making blankets and having them donated to children in hospitals through the Blankets of Love charity.
Mallia is also tremendous about keeping morale high and creating good internal customer relations among staff members. She leads the Michigan APR team in activities like the annual Employee Week. The event gives APR staff a break from their regular routine by getting them involved in fun activities. Mallia’s hard work and dedication to keeping APR’s team well-rounded makes for a better work environment and happy employees which contributes to APR achieving their goal of becoming the best collection agency in the industry.
