Mike Hiller is an accomplished collection professional and vice president of collections with American Profit Recovery. Mike joined the Farmington Hills, Michigan office in 2005. While earning his undergraduate degree he was involved in Central Michigan University's Leadership program. Hiller attended the University of Detroit Mercy where he served as an adviser for graduate students in a mentoring program. Following graduation he worked as a Sales Associate with both Coca Cola and Nabisco, then in Construction Management as a Foreman with Trillium Contracting. Both positions helped him cultivate his recruiting, training and management skillsets. Hiller is an excellent manager at APR who keeps his team motivated by creating a great workplace and by setting an excellent example. To this end Hiller earned the prestigious 'Manager of the year' award in 2011 at American Profit Recovery.
Hiller possesses a Master's Degree in Psychology which not only enables him to hire the right team members; but when he's dealing with the public, he can identify the psychology behind why someone is in collections and how best to help that individual work out a solution to their debt.
Hiller is not only dedicated to working each day to make APR the best collection agency in the industry, he is enthusiastic about participating in company charity events and volunteering for personal charities in his free time. Hiller participates in APR's annual Making Strides for Breast Cancer Walk along with volunteering to plant flower and trees when the company is partaking in Planet Day of Service each April. Away from the office he is married to Jen and works to make the community they live in a better place. Hiller is part of the Rochester/Auburn Hills Community Coalition (RAHCC) and is currently and active volunteer for Habitat for Humanity.
Hiller's experience in the collection industry and personal penchant for helping others thorough volunteer work and charitable events make him an incredible part of the APR team.
