Happy Holidays!  

 We try very hard to make a difference during the year so once again APR has chosen to make donations to four charities in lieu of mailing out the traditional holiday cards to clients and associates this year. Now more than ever is the time to be charitable and we are proud this year to support the United Way, the Boys & Girls Club of Gaston, Northville Civic Concern and others on behalf of our clients. 2008 was an exciting year for American Profit Recovery.  We launched our new Website; expanded our teams in MA, MI and NC; we were named one of The Best Places to Work in Collections from insideARM.com; and we yet again had a member of our ownership team named as one of the 50 Most Influential People in the Collection Industry by Collection Advisor Magazine.

You would think a long weekend in Vegas would be a good thing – especially when flight and hotel costs are paid by your employer.  A few days away from work in a warmer climate (its cold in MI this week folks), good friends as travel companions and endless options for fun – Vegas seemed like a great reward.

From the culture we developed, the enjoyment of our day-to-day experiences here, to the more concrete such as benefits we offer our team. Well now it’s official. We are one of the best places to work and we were just recognized as one of the top collection agencies to work for by Inside ARM magazine.

I can honestly tell you, this is a proud moment for me and our entire team. Some in our industry and many others have some trouble retaining quality staff. And if they look real hard, they may find that their culture gets in the way of building a stellar team. We did this even before we opened our doors.
