At American Profit Recovery we do more than collect money for our clients. We have fun together, raise money together and work hard together. As the years go on one thing always remains the same, our employees look forward to our annual “Employee Week”. During this week we raise money for Summer Charities of Choice and Adopt a Family and have a lot of fun doing this. It could be anything from Trivia, running around the office with a spoon trying not to drop a golf ball, or even getting an Oreo in your mouth that is placed on your forehead (you gotta see it to believe it). All of these events lead up to one common goal, raising money that we can distribute towards charities of American Profit Recovery choice. Not only have causes I hold dear to my heart been donated to, but I know the impact of these donations.
As an added bonus we have buckets our staff will place tokens is as they win games that later will be drawn for a chance at a BIGGER prize. This could be anything from gift cards, to pieing your manager in the face, to a TRIP TO VEGAS. This past year with the pandemic I wasn’t sure what would happen with employee week but we still pulled off a virtual employee week which was full of fun and laughs. To my surprise, I was the winner of the trip to Vegas. Not only was I shocked, but extremely grateful as I know how much people around here put in the pocket to go.
During my free trip to Vegas, I made lasting memories with my husband that I owe all to American Profit Recovery. Everything from being up close to the training of the dolphins at the Mirage, to enjoying all of the highly-rated restaurants in the area such as Hell’s Kitchen or CATCH. This was a great trip and it was all made possible by our Employee Week efforts. Since returning back to the office I am now counting down the days until our next employee week.
