With Thanksgiving recently upon us, I could not help but stop and think about all the things I am thankful for this year. 2020 has taught many of us to be grateful for the little things like family, socializing, health, and simple things like being able to grocery shop. I am especially grateful that I chose to work at such a phenomenal place as I approach my third-year anniversary at American Profit Recovery.
Working as a collector I hear stories from consumers all around the nation about their struggles during this global pandemic. Many have lost jobs, loved ones, steady income, and things some of us will never be able to comprehend. I put myself in their shoes quickly to relate to them and understand how they must feel in order to decide on what would work best to help them during these trying times. I appreciate having the opportunity to speak to these consumers and help them figure out the best way to help them resolve their debts while being sympathetic.
That’s why I chose this career in the first place, to make a difference in the lives of others by working with them regardless of their situation. On the brighter side of things, many consumers are able to obtain new loans or refinance loans as a result of what I am able to help them with when they call in to discuss a resolution for their debts.
I am also thankful for being in a safe workplace that was able to quickly accommodate us when faced with unexpected events this year.
I look forward to what the future has to offer here and helping consumers during other obstacles that may arise in the years to come.
