Working in Debt Collections-Expectations vs Reality

I have had the pleasure of sitting in on plenty of interviews throughout my career with American Profit Recovery. During this time, I have noticed some common things potential candidates are always looking for.

One of the biggest is that they want an opportunity for growth, a company they can make a nice living at and a good working environment.

I want to take a moment to address these 3 points that not many people can say (and mean it) that they love what they do.

Eight years ago, when I started here, I didn’t even know if I would like to call people to collect debts.

What I soon learned is that this company isn’t just a job, it’s a FAMILY. Everyone works very well together; employees are able to sit with their managers and get ongoing training and everyone is able to work side by side with ease even when things could otherwise seem stressful.

I am able to take vacations with ease knowing I have coworkers who have my back while I’m gone and am able to enjoy all the benefits American Profit Recovery has while still maintaining a good living.

I can come in late when doctor appointments come up, take off random Fridays and even work at home to get overtime. All of these options and benefits have made continuing to work here an easy choice.

I can speak for myself as well as many others working for APR, when I say that the opportunity is endless. I have worked my way up the ladder and so can anybody else that works here, simply by doing your job.

You aren’t just stuck in a dead-end position with no potential…the potential is there for the taking. Do you want to make more money and have your own team one day?
