APR receives endorsement from New Jersey Landscape Contractors Association

American Profit Recovery is excited to announce that The New Jersey Landscape Contractors Association (NJLCA) has recently endorsed the collection agency.

The NJLCA Board of Directors has approved American Profit Recovery to be their Preferred Partner for debt collections.

APR works with countless green industry professionals across the country and has a proven track record for improving the profitability of landscape contractors in maintenance, design/build, landscape management and of course lawn care businesses. APR recognizes that many landscape professionals are hesitant to send their clients to debt collection agencies due to the expense and fear of losing the client.

We know the importance of retaining customers and we employ a diplomatic approach to not only recover monies owed, […]

The Best Team In The Biz!

The best debt collection team in the industry.

This week American Profit Recovery celebrated our Annual Employee Week. It’s designed to recognize the hard work and dedication the employees put forth during the year and it hopefully shows our employees that the owners appreciate the people that make it a great place to come to every day.

Employee week is important to me personally because we get a chance to get everyone under the same roof even if it’s only for a short period of time. We fly everyone from our North Carolina and Massachusetts office into our Michigan location for a few meetings, some hard work and a lot of fun. I think it’s great for […]

Caught Being Good Again

My son (3 yrs. old) goes to swim school every Monday…well, most Mondays.  Lately it’s been a bit of a challenge to make it every Monday but we try our best.  Due to this inconsistency my son’s enthusiasm for swimming diminished.  It became hard to even get him in the water, let alone listen to the teacher’s instructions.

At swim school the design is to teach the kids in phases and when they have progressed enough they get bumped up to the next phase, which comes with a brand new teacher.  As with any teacher/student relationship there are certain people you connect really well with and those you don’t.  My son connected really well with his […]

Join APR for the Brighton Polar Plunge for Special Olympic

Despite this weekend’s 20-year-old record snow fall and record lows…Burr, American Profit Recovery employees and their families will be taking the plunge for the Special Olympics for the second year in a row! I am glad that we are making this an annual event, as I have been an active supporter of the Special Olympics since I was on the high school swim team.  One of my teammates, who had more passion for the sport than anyone else I have ever met, had a disability and was an active Special Olympic athlete.

Looking back all those years ago I still remember 5:45 AM practices, where I was struggling to find the energy to keep […]

One Collectors Thoughts….

As I sit here and reflect, APR’s success is a direct reflection on its willingness to innovate. It really exists not only as a profitable enterprise but to instill in its employees a desire to learn throughout life, to engage passionately with the world around them and to be honorable persons of strong and resourceful character. Never in my business career have I been continually impressed with management and the employee staff. Thanks for bearing with my musings as the week comes to an end.

Loving Labor Day

There are a few things in society that people unanimously get behind, but I think a three day weekend is one of those things.  Labor Day may have its roots as some union demand, but for many of us it marks the unofficial end of summer and for some reason, the unofficial end of wearing white. Now, I’m not sure where the whole no wearing white thing comes from, so if someone has an answer please educate me and comment below.

Being from New England I have a solid appreciation for the changing of the seasons. When someone tells me summer is ending, I take that remark very seriously and act accordingly.  Despite the rainy weather […]

A Break From Work

This past weekend I was able to take a break from collecting bills at our collection agency

and enjoy an event unlike anything I have ever been to before. I was given the opportunity to see some of the great Detroit Red Wings players along with other Detroit sport celebrities of the past play softball at a charity event for the Joe Kocur Foundation for Children. It was Kocur’s 5th year putting on this event and the foundation assists local charities with the primary goal of focusing on families that need assistance either by financial means or logistical support.

Not only did I watch them play but also met them in between games. To […]
